The presence of toxins and chemicals in food is an emerging concern. Food gets contaminated either naturally or through certain unwise activities in the food industry. Contamination by heavy metal in food occurs mainly through pollution of air, water and soil. The continuous use of plastic in food and beverage packaging has exposed the humans to numerous health hazards. We are using the plastics in one or the other form, at homes, offices, functions and at most in the delivery of the food items. All plastic, from macro to nano scale are concerned to leach and adsorb hazardous substances. Single-use plastic is one of the dangerous things used world-wide. The harmful chemicals associated with plastics can be divided into three categories: ingredients of the plastic material, byproducts of manufacturing and chemicals adsorbed from the environment. The possible toxicological responses caused by plastic can thus be a combination of all of these chemicals. Discussing the harmful effects of its use on the human health is an objective of the study. The paper concludes that various kinds of plastic are not only harmful for the environment, but directly affects the human health. The release of toxic compounds has shown to lead to health complications in non-humans as well. It is high time that the policy-makers take strict action at earliest and protect the health of the society.Item Open Access ACCOUNTING OUTSOURCING SERVICES FROM THE PERSPECTIVES OF TRANSACTION COST ECONOMIES: A STUDY IN KAZAKHSTAN(СДУ хабаршысы - 2023, 2023) Araylim K.R.; Zhansaya N.Zh.Аңдатпа. Once a company’s core business has matured, the pursuit of new platforms for growth entails daunting risk — to put it simply, most companies just don’t know how to grow, and pursuing growth the wrong way can be worse than no growth at all. The decisions about growth finally approved or made by the CEOs of the established companies. Therefore, it is the executives’ mistake in making decisions about growth and innovations. The article applies Christensen’s theory to digital camera industry. It begins with the history and recent trends in digital camera industry. We then identified the established companies/incumbents, new entrants and market segments of the industry. Next, we identified the actual and potential low-end and high-end disruptions in digital camera industry. Subsequently, the last section suggests long-run and short-run R&D strategies for incumbents to manage those low-end and high-end disruptive technologies. Finally, the findings based on the Christensen’s “Innovator’s dilemma” and “Innovators’ solution” and the application of the theory to digital camera industry discussed and conclusion is made.Item Open Access APPLICATION OF CLIL IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS FOR IMPROVING STUDENTS’MOTIVATION(СДУ хабаршысы - 2017, 2017) Nurzhan R. ; Ashirimbetova M.Abstract. The purpose of this study was to further explore differences between entrepreneurs decision-makings. However, rather than focusing on previously examined individual differences, this study examined differences in the decision-making processes used by entrepre- neurs. Building on nonrational decision-making models from behavioral decision theory, we asserted that entrepreneurs are more susceptible to the use decision-making biases and heuristics than are managers in large organizations. The use ofbiases and heuristics may also offer some help in explaining why entrepreneurs sometimes make bad managers. Whereas the use ofcognitive biases may be beneficial in some cir- cumstances, it can lead to major errors in others. Although research has yet to establish performance implications, it is possible that the more extensive use ofheuristics in strategic decision-making may be a great advantage during the start-up years. However, it may also lead to the demise ofa business as a firm matures.Item Open Access BRAND ALLIANCES BENEFITS FROM CONSUMER PERCEPTION; ON EXAMPLE OF QATAR AIRWAYS IN ONEWORLD(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Temirkhanova I.T.Abstract.
