THE NOTOIN OF MOTIVATION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS
    (СДУ хабаршысы - 2023, 2023) Y. Sokolova; Y. Doganay
Abstract. One of the most influential factors contributing to successful learning and academic achievements is motivation for learning. The fact that motivation is one of the main components of a successful study has been determined in multiple studies around the globe. Unfortunately, not all teachers manage to motivate their students. This article discusses the problem of motivation of teenage students to learn English. Since this age period is a transitional period in the life of adolescents, much attention is paid to the study of the psychological characteristics of this age and the search for possible ways to overcome the emerging difficulties through the appropriate behavior of the teacher. Some external reasons for the lack of motivation of secondary school students to study are also considered - the content of educational materials, the organization of educational activities, the choice of methods and approaches to teaching, etc. The article suggests some ways to solve these problems.

FINDINGS IN ADAPTATION OF FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT TO ONLINE EDUCATION IN EFL CLASSES: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ EXPERIENCE
(2022 International Young Scholars' Conference, 2022) G. Mussina; Kh. Delovarova
Abstract Prior to the COVID-19 crisis, all modalities of learning assessment had been strongly dependent on students' physical presence – either for administration or for observing the learners' daily progress. Current school closures necessitate development of alternative approaches to delivering the critical feedback function of learning assessment. While all types of assessment of student learning are important, the need for formative assessment right now is particularly critical because learning needs to take place outside of the physical classroom, and teachers and parents-turned-teachers need to understand whether students are absorbing the content that is delivered to them in formats that differ from business-as-usual.

DIFFERENTIATION OF HOMEWORK IN PHYSICS TO IMPROVE THE ACHIVEMENTS OF 9TH GRADE STUDENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN KAZAKHSTAN
    (SDU University, 2025) Dadayev Aslan
This study examines the impact of differentiated homework assignments on the academic achievements of 9th-grade students in physics within secondary schools in Kazakhstan. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques, including pre- and post-assessment tests. The study aims to determine whether tailored homework assignments, based on students' proficiency levels and learning styles, enhance their understanding and performance in physics. Findings indicate that differentiation in homework positively affects student engagement, comprehension, and overall academic success. The research highlights the necessity of personalized learning approaches in physics education. This study contributes to the broader discourse on effective teaching methodologies and underscores the role of homework customization in fostering student achievement.

TEACHING STUDENTS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS THEORY OF PROBABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS
(2022 International Young Scholars' Conference, 2022) Zh. Nurgaliyeva; A. Dauletkulova
Abstract Nowadays, probabilistic-statistical methods are now used in a wide range of disciplines, including physics, chemistry, pedagogy, psychology, linguistics, archeology, and geology, as well as probability theory in medicine and biology, military science and cosmonautics, linguistics, psychology, and teaching theory. Citizens have to overcome their deterministic thinking and recognize the existence of fundamental randomness in nature in order to perform effectively in society. Simultaneously, individuals should learn tactics and methods of reasoning that will assist in making appropriate judgments in everyday and professional circumstances involving risk. The importance of probability literacy has been acknowledged by educators in many nations by including teaching probability and mathematical statistics at various levels of education. The main purpose of this research is to build theoretical foundations for teaching probability and statistics in secondary school that are appropriate for their broad educational value, and to discover how to apply them in middle school mathematics classes.

DEVELOPING THE PRACTICE OF CLIL WHILETEACHING BIOLOGY IN TRILINGUAL EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT
    (СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) Z.S. Khalmukhamedova; D.Gaipov
Abstract. The current study is focused on trilingual education through action research. To integrate foreign language into curriculum of another subject Content Language Integrating Learning (CLIL) approach will be used. Organization of CLIL lessons is demanding especially when two teachers cooperate because both have different methods, principles and objectives. The paper through involving action research will be approbating teacher cooperation method to investigate way of developing teaching content through English language to learners of biology in secondary school. As the participants of the research students of 8thgrade (20-25) in Kaskelen in Almaty are selected. The purpose of involving action research is to test whether content teachers are ready to cooperate in such conditions and its effectiveness on students’ learning.
