Abstract
Research on the project method has been conducted in an
abundance of different areas of teaching and foreign language, while research on the application of the project method to overcome linguistic interference

the project method also had its own disadvantages as well as advantages that contradict
popular opinion about the effectiveness of the project method over traditional
methods. Among the advantages of the participant project method were creativity, better
vocabulary memorization, more effective group work and collaboration,
while disadvantages included ambiguous, clear instructions, insufficient
time to complete projects, and difficult or inappropriate tasks.
