Abstract

Research on the project method has been conducted in an abundance of different areas of teaching and foreign language, while research on the application of the project method to overcome linguistic interference is very rare. Thus, the purpose of this research was to study the effectiveness of the use of the method of projects for teaching Russian-English to the translator's simple friends students aged 17-19 years at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Suleiman University Demirel, Kazakhstan. The study showed that the application of the method of projects in The training of the translator's close friends was quite effective. comparison by traditional methods. However, the participants noted that the project method also had its own disadvantages as well as advantages that contradict popular opinion about the effectiveness of the project method over traditional methods. Among the advantages of the participant project method were creativity, better vocabulary memorization, more effective group work and collaboration, while disadvantages included ambiguous, clear instructions, insufficient time to complete projects, and difficult or inappropriate tasks.
