Item Open Access PECULIARITIES OF COLLOCATION TRANSLATION IN OFFICAL TEXT(СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) K. Syzdykov; A. DyussembayevaAbstract. This article is devoted to investigate the problems in translating collocations in official documents. Official documentation has certain rules and features, such as concreteness, brevity, clarity, high information productivity, strict logic, clear rhythm of sentences etc. In connection with these established rules, translation problems arise, because each language has its own structure. In this study, a functional analysis of the language units in speech, structural-semantic and stylistic methods of linguistic analysis are used. The aim of the study is a comprehensive analysis of official documents translation to determine the features of official style, as well as the derivation of which translation transformations are used mostly to transmit complete semantic correspondences. The study of official letters in the work is carried out under the influence of the traditions of communicative research the text, which have been comprehended and substantiated in many domestic and foreign works.Item Open Access DIFFERENT VIEWS ON MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES THEORY: FOR AND AGAINST(СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) S.B. BekturovaAbstract: The present scientific article highlights various opposing views on Multіple Іntellіgences theory which is known in the world since the publicаtion of аn Аmericаn psychologist Howаrd Gаrdner’s book “Frаmes of mind”. It was believed that the theory would brіng a new perspectіve іn foreіgn language educatіon. Many educators all around the world have been incorporating this theory into their practice and teaching pedagogy, but it has also brought some critics’ attention. Thіs artіcle brіefly іnvestіgates the different views on MI theory. To sum up, authors conclude that with all the criticism and positive remarks the MI theory has been receiving since 1983, the original intention of Howard Gardner was not to develop an educational model to apply in the classroom, but to challenge academic psychologists to look at the human intelligence in a broader way.Item Open Access TECHNIQUES FOR IMPLEMENTING DRAMA-BASED ACTIVITIES AT B2 LEVEL ELT CLASSES(СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) S.A. AkhmedovaAbstract. The aim of this project is to explore the practical implementation of drama-based activities at B2 level ELT classes. The use of drama in language classroom is considered to be one of the most innovative and creative approaches in language education. Along with its innovativeness it also fits into the frames of new trends in language teaching as project based learning and content language integrated learning. Through involvement in drama activity students acquire not only language skills, but also they develop communicative competence in L2. However how can drama be introduced to the language classroom? What are the different effective techniques in the way of applying drama to the studies of students ? What is the effect of constructing tools that improve the quality of an activity on students’ communicative performance and attitudes towards drama ? With the help of answers to the stated questions this project aims on creating model of drama-activity for its implementation in language classroom.Item Open Access RSSI BASED BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY INDOOR POSITIONING(СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) Mussina A.B. ; Aubakirov S.S.Abstract. People usually spend time inside buildings like offices, shops, hospitals, airports, train station and other indoor spaces. Nowadays, the task of positioning and navigation in this kind of environment is becoming more relevant and useful. Commonly used GPS (Global Positioning System), which is typically used in obtaining location information, has no use in closed spaces. Thereby, we need new technology of real-time location system. In this research work we investigated usage of Bluetooth Low Energy RSSI to estimate location. We experimented with the following mathematical filtering functions to smooth rssi and improve accuracy: median, mode and single direction outlier removal. For position calculation, we used trilateration algorithm. Our research based on assumptions and experiments of works of other researches. The article deals with the problem of increasing the efficiency of managing the Frequent Flyer Programs for Kazakhstan airlines in the market. The main effectiveness indicators of Frequent Flyer Programs are determined, a comparative analysis of these indicators is presented in comparison with the leading airlines of the world, an analysis of the main groups of costs and benefits obtained by the airline from the introduction and use of Frequent Flyer Programs with the purpose of developing appropriate control actions is carried out. The particular relevance of the research objective arises from the intensification of competition in the airline industry and the extensive consolidation that is expected to accompany it. These market challenges make the retention of valuable customers an essential prerequisite for the achievement of a sustainable competitive advantage and, hence, the airline’s overall success.Item Open Access TRANSITION ECONOMIES: KAZAKHSTAN’S PROGRESS(СДУ хабаршысы - 2018, 2018) Ichshanova Zh.T.Abstract. Economic growth is the most important issue in an economic theory. It’s theoretical analysis acquires special significance in the conditions of Kazakhstan's transition from a command-administrative, industrial economy to a social-market system. In these conditions, the criterion for the success of development of market economy is not just a quantitative increase in output, but also a qualitative improvement in the structure of GDP: an increase in the share of high-tech industrial products, competitive durable goods, etc. This can be achieved by reforming the industrial sector of the economy. The relevance of the research topic is conditioned by the fact that, under current conditions, franchising is one of the main ways to organize an effective business, as it gives the entrepreneur the opportunity to become the owner of an already well-known brand, with a long history and a formed target Audience.As the experience of the West, a successful entrepreneur can be any person: from a pensioner to a housewife. But in Kazakhstan there is still insufficient level of pre-awareness, weak involvement of the inactive population in the business environment. The share of the employed population in entrepreneurship in comparison with world statistics is very low. Delovarova; K. RakishAbstract. This article deals with the implementing short videos in the teaching of English as a foreign language. This work is concerned with English Teaching with Short Video Project Work, with its role and function in lessons and its effect on students’ knowledge of the language. Video Project Work is nowadays considered to be a really effective way of teaching English that connects learning and using the language. From the authors’ experience it was found out that students like such kinds of tasks and they learn a lot of various things while they are doing this work.
