Item Open Access Informational System Audit Process(Suleyman Demirel University, 2007) A. KhodarinaThis article discusses the importance of a risk-based Information System (IS) audit process in modern organizations. Since information systems support and drive key business operations, their reliability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability are essential for effective corporate governance. The IS audit process aims to evaluate existing systems, identify risks, assess controls, and ensure alignment between business goals and technological infrastructure. The article emphasizes that an IS audit follows a structured lifecycle similar to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes feasibility study, planning, design, implementation, testing, and final reporting. In the initial phase, auditors develop an understanding of the business environment and define audit scope and objectives. Planning involves organizing the audit team, scheduling tasks, and determining resources. The design phase consists of creating an audit program based on identified risks and internal controls. Ultimately, a well-conducted IS audit strengthens organizational performance and mitigates security threats.Item Open Access EQUITY IN ACCESS TO KAZAKHSTANI HIGHER EDUCATION(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Yenikeyeva A.Abstract. The purpose of this study, which is conducted using document analysis and primary data collectionin order to understand the policy and problems of access and equity in Kazakhstani higher education in terms of financial issues. The absence of adequate financial support is the most major obstacle to accessing the education in Kazakhstan. At the same time higher education instituions are not allowed to raise funds and help students with decreasing the fees.In addition to inequity, the high-income cities of Almaty and Astana usually achieve the highest scores on the UNT. Thus means citizens from reacher parts of Kazakhstan have more access to grants issued by government than poorer regions. The main answer of the question who pays and who should pay for higher education in Kazakhstan is revealed. The aim of this study, which is conducted using document analysis is to understand the policy and problems of access and equity in Kazakhstani higher education in terms of financial issues and unified national test (UNT) which is used to make access more transparent and fair. Future researches may be divided by financing polices and access to higher education by UNT. Identification the affect of improved version of UNT on access and equity in higher education.Item Open Access Solution of differential equations with vertical asymptotes(Suleyman Demirel University, 2011) Uxikbayev K.B.This article investigates the kernel of the inverse operator associated with the third-order differential operator defined by Ly = −y'' + q(x)y under periodic-type boundary conditions. Using Kolmogorov widths and s-number theory, we establish estimates for the operator’s properties and demonstrate that the inverse operator is a kernel operator when q(x) is continuous and satisfies q(x) ≥ 1. Several supporting lemmas are proven, including inequalities for the operator and relationships between s-numbers and Kolmogorov widths. The results provide a theoretical framework for understanding the behavior of higher-order differential operators in Hilbert and Banach spaces.Item Open Access Some properties of ordered algebraic structures(Faculty of engineering and natural sciences, 2019) Dauletiyarova A.Quantifier elimination is one of the most important tools in model theory. Indeed, if a theory allows quantifier elimination, then this theory is complete, and the description of all definable subsets can be reduced to describing only those subsets that are defined by a quantifier-free formula. One of the most important mathematical structures is the linearly ordered set of real numbers. On it, you can set an ordered group and field. It is known that the elementary theory of these structures admits quantifier elimination, and since these theories are computably axiomatizable, quantifier elimination implies their solvability.Item Open Access Adoption of ISO 9000 by Companies in Kazakhstan: Reasons for Adoption, Perceptions by Managers, and Benefits for Companies(Central Asia Business Journal, 2009) Moldashev K.The current paper explores the reasons for companies in Kazakhstan to adopt ISO 9000, the role of management, perception of Quality Management, and benefits from certification. The managers and employees of companies responsible for adoption of ISO 9000 were asked to answer survey questions. The main conclusions arising from study are that the major source of ISO 9000 knowledge are foreign partners, most companies report improvement in quality, and only small percentage of respondents agreed that costs decreased. The study shows the need to intensify promotion of ISO 9000 on local level by conferences, workshops and other means. Also, according to survey results, companies should emphasize on waste management and system approach management principles in adopting ISO 9000.Item Open Access STUDY OF SQUARE EQUATIONS IN THE 8TH GRADE USING MODULAR TECHNOLOGY(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Sabyrbayeva D. ; Borambayeva S.Abstract. Information Theory is a fundamental field of study that plays a pivotal role in various aspects of modern technology, communication, and data science. This abstract provides an overview of a course in Information Theory, which covers the core principles and applications of this field. This course aims to introduce students to the foundational concepts of Information Theory, including entropy, information content, and coding theory. It explores the mathematical foundations of information and communication, enabling students to quantify and manipulate information in a systematic manner. Topics covered include Shannon's entropy, data compression, channel capacity, and error-correcting codes. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and real-world applications, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles that underlie the transmission and storage of information in various communication systems. They will also learn how these principles are applied in fields such as data compression, cryptography, and error detection and correction. The course is designed to cater to a diverse range of students, from those with a strong mathematical background to those with a more practical interest in communication and information technology. By the end of the course, students will not only be equipped with a solid theoretical foundation but will also have the skills to apply Information Theory to solve real-world problems, making it an essential part of the curriculum for anyone interested in the intersection of mathematics, computer science, and communication technology.Item Open Access A comparison between the traditional lecture method and concept mapping method on teaching boolean algebra(Suleyman Demirel University, 2011) Cemil TosikIn education implemented throughout the history of humanity, all kinds of information and social values intended to be transferred to the young generation are realized by teachers. The higher quality of teaching, the more achievement of student is. To achieve the goal of teaching and learning, the teacher must adopt effective teaching and learning methods in education. The teacher has many options to choose from different methods designed specifically for teaching and learning. The purpose of this research presented here is to investigate the effects of using concept maps on student achievement at teaching 'Binary System and Boolean Algebra'. Nowadays the information easy to reach but to keep in mind and to reach new findings and synthesis are quite difficult. In educational process for effective learning, the teaching materials for the learning purpose should be comprehensible and appropriate for the students. Furthermore, the learners are expected to construct the concepts and relations of the learning materials so as to achieve the desired learning objectives. Concept mapping is a method using graphs for representing knowledge in a structure according to different levels of abstraction and inclusion. The method has been widely applied in many disciplines and various educational levels. This learning environment is intended to guide the learners toward general understandings of the subject they have to learn.Item Open Access PARAMETERS OPTIMIZATION OF DECISION TREE AND KNN ALGORITHMS FOR BREAST CANCER PREDICTION(СДУ хабаршысы - 2017, 2017) Meraliyev M.M. ; Orynbekova K.Ye. ; Hasanov D. ; Zhaparov M.K.Abstract. Now, as the age of technology, heaped robots are being created every day to make life easier for mankind. The use of robots has spread so that now almost every school has robots. People began to arrange robots fights, once it was just a dream, and now every region of Kazakhstan can conduct their robot fights. Today it is modern to use bots in web pages. They replace operators who needed rest, sleep, food, and so on. Bots, on the contrary, they do not need worldly desires. Messengers are messaging between users. One of the first online messengers was “ICQ”, where people could only exchange messages. Now in the market of online messengers is leading "WhatsApp". With the help of “WhatsApp” we can not only exchange messages, but also make video calls. Thanks to P. Durov and his team, we can now use both the bot and online messenger together.
