dc.description.abstractWithin the context of communications during short term visits abroad, this study explores the issues of intercultural communication in English by means of questionnaires and semi structural interviews with participants. Genuine anecdotes of communicative intercultural situations can provide useful course materials for ELT teache rs to develop learners’ intercultural competence in communication.
