The qualification of teachers and coaches involved in the search for and preparation of students for informatics olympiads has a significant impact on the motivation of students to study informatics and participate in informatics olympiads. The analysis of development trends, international informatics competition, and school informatization programs has enabled the definition of three levels of informatics and information and communication technologies (ICT) for teacher preparation. These levels of ICT preparation of school teachers and their relationship to one another are described in the given thesis. In addition, not only is the curriculum for teachers described, but also the methods of teaching in various platforms such as learning management systems. Organization of the preparation of teachers, taking into account the distinctive features of each level, will permit the essential number of participants in the informatics olympiads to increase and will improve the outcomes of their participation and the international informatics olympiads.
