Item Open Access EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT USING ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS(2022 International Young Scholars' Conference, 2022) B. KamarAbstract Human resources and performance are the primary determinants of organizational success in today's contemporary enterprises. The main purpose of employee performance evaluation is to ensure a fair assessment of the employee's contribution to the workforce. An effective performance measurement system helps to boost employee productivity, focus on work discipline and make decisions in time. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a structured method for analyzing complex decisionmaking problems by calculating the weights of each criterion. Using a carefully constructed questionnaire, each respondent compares the relative value of each pair of elements. This method can be used for both qualitative and quantitative analysis. In this paper, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used for employee performance measurement. The proposed AHP model contains criteria based on internal automated business processes of organization. As a result, it allows a straightforward consideration of each employee's performance by comparing all the criteria.Item Open Access IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES IN IT(2022 International Young Scholars' Conference, 2022) Zh. SupyaldiyarovAbstract The United Nations was created to "save succeeding generations from the scourge of war" and one of its main goals is the maintenance of international peace and security. Peacekeeping, although not explicitly provided for in the Charter, has become one of the main tools used by the United Nations to achieve this goal. Over the past three decades, United Nations peacekeeping has become a complex global undertaking. During this time, the conduct of United Nations peacekeeping operations was based on the experience of many thousands of men and women who participated in more than 60 operations launched since 1948. Over the past three decades, the scale of international peacekeeping activities has increased significantly. In particular, it can be argued that the number of so-called "providers" of peacekeeping activities has increased. Today, not only the United Nations (UN) is involved in the processes of peacekeeping, but also a large number of regional organizations and some temporary coalitions of States are involved in this activity. Peacekeeping has changed significantly during this time and continues to change. At the moment, peacekeeping is one of the most important tools of international governance in the field of security at all levels and, above all, at the regional level.Item Open Access STUDENTS’ CHALLENGES IN ACADEMIC WRITING: INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE(2022 International Young Scholars' Conference, 2022) T. AyazbayAbstract The aim of the article is to identify international tertiary students’ challenges in academic writing. The article suggests a systematic review of the scientific literature related to higher education students’ challenges in academic writing. Possible reasons for that might be the mismatch between required English language proficiency upon graduation and application to the higher education; L1 interference and incompetent linguistic ability. This article serves as background for further empirical study. Additionally, the paper provides suggestions and recommendations to overcome mentioned difficulties in academic writing. The results are useful for tertiary instructors who teach English writing related courses.
