The subject guide includes the topics based on the sample programme
of the discipline “Ecology and Sustainable Development” and gives
information about the objectives and functions of ecological science;
anthropogenic factors of instability in biosphere; social ecological problems;
they ways of appropriate use of natural resources and theoretical information
on numerous processes focused on concept of the continuous development
of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and seminars based on credit system along
with the tasks for the independent work of the students. Apart from this there
are consolidation exercises, practice tests and glossary.
