Item Open Access THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION METHODS OF ELECTRODYNAMICS DISCIPLINE IN HIGHER EDUCATION(Қазақстан ғылымының дамуы мен келешегі жастар көзімен - 2018, 2018)The article deals with the methodology and system of teaching physics in higher educational institutions such as the difficulties in teaching the section of electrodynamics. The factors that contribute to the emergence of these problems are described. New technologies in the teaching of physics, methods of physics and theory, and methods used are considered. On the issues of developmental learning in electrodynamics, we study: logical, theoretical, scientific and technical, dialectical thinking. This article describes the definition of electrical phenomena of nature, its understanding by students and application. In connection with the fact that the student does not understand the program of the first year and complicates the process of training mentors in the process of training, the problem of preparation in the section of electrodynamics is considered to be actual at the university. At present it is impossible to become a competent specialist, until new effective methods are applied. The aim of the students is to study an in-depth of electrodynamics.Item Open Access Investigate mathematical creativity in the fractions topic in fifth grade students(2020 International Young Scholars Workshop, 2020) Assan M.Abstract. The article discusses the methodological problem of familiarizing a younger student with the concepts of "share" and "fraction" in an elementary school mathematics course. In mathematics textbooks for elementary grades, a student receives information about fractions only through a system of practical actions on real objects, quantities and a description of these actions in the language of special mathematical symbols. Teaching fractions is an integral part of the math program. But why are fractions so hard to understand for children? There are three big things that confuse children most often. 1. We often ask children to complete a series of steps without understanding the reasons for these steps. Sometimes, when they are younger, students are not even ready for the development of concepts. 2. Children often have misconceptions about all the complex topics of mathematics, including fractions. When we can help children resist these misconceptions, learning is often easier. 3. Children struggle with fractions for the same reason that children struggle with many new concepts: they just need practice. Examples of such practical actions are given in the article.Item Open Access STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME FLA: TEACHERS' VIEWS(SDU Bulletin: Pedagogy and Teaching Methods, 2025) Zhuldyz Khassen; Saule Tulepova; Dameli AlimbayevaThis study aims to identify efficient strategies to overcome and reduce foreign language anxiety (FLA) among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. 9 EFL teachers from the university shared their views toward FLA and reported their strategies to reduce FLA. Using a qualitative method, semi-structured interviews were conducted. The findings showed that several effective strategies may help to overcome FLA among students. The strategies have included creating a supportive atmosphere and classroom environment, using engaging teaching methods, and helping students build confidence. This study contributes to the existing findings of FLA while comparing the teachers’ effective strategies.
