    Application of TPB on the Saving Intention among the Students of Community Colleges: Moderating Effect of Mobile Applications

    The main objective of this study is to examine the saving intention among the Community College students from the Planned Behavior Theory (TPB) perspective and to investigate whether the proposed relationships are contingent upon their perceptions towards mobile applications. In order to achieve the objectives, a survey study was conducted among 117 community college students in Kedah, Selangor, Perak in Malaysia. PLS test results revealed that attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control 'have' significantly influence students' intention to saving. However, mobile applications do not has moderate direct relationships. In conclusion, this study is significant as the understanding of saving behavior is essential not only for future retirement and investment plans of younger generations but also for their financial resilience when exposed to adverse shocks such as COVID-19.

    PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL) IN A CLIL CLASSROOM: THE CASE OF KAZAKHSTAN

    This study investigated the effects of project-based learning (PBL) on English language development during a biology lesson within CLIL context. The object of the study was PBL, while the purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of PBL on CLIL development in learners. This qualitative research was conducted at three schools in Kazakhstan using three CLIL classes teaching biology in English. Data was collected in parallel through classroom observations and focus group interviews. The research findings revealed that PBL significantly improved classroom climate during CLIL implementation and that both teachers and students perceived PBL positively despite the shortcomings associated with a large time commitment and the difficulty of objectively assessing group performance. The results of the study can help school authorities improve the quality of CLIL practices in light of PBL.

    The cost sharing analysis of Kazakhstani Higher Education. Who pays and who should pay?

    The purpose of this study, which is conducted using document analysis and primary data collection in order to understand the policy and problems of access and equity in Kazakhstani higher education in terms of financial issues. The absence of adequate financial support is the most major obstacle to accessing the education in Kazakhstan. At the same time higher education institutions are not allowed to raise funds and help students with decreasing the fees. The main answer of the question who pays and who should pay for higher education in Kazakhstan is revealed. The main findings reveal the proper information about higher. education financing sources and opinion of the students about the most appropriate source of education from the perspective of the Kazakhstani population. The correlation between main characteristics and wishes of the students was attempted to identify through the discriminant analysis. All of the findings are important for policy makers. The information could be used to make a decision about different financial sources provisions.
