    Informational System Audit Process
(Suleyman Demirel University, 2007) A. Khodarina
This article discusses the importance of a risk-based Information System (IS) audit process in modern organizations. Since information systems support and drive key business operations, their reliability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability are essential for effective corporate governance. The IS audit process aims to evaluate existing systems, identify risks, assess controls, and ensure alignment between business goals and technological infrastructure. The article emphasizes that an IS audit follows a structured lifecycle similar to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes feasibility study, planning, design, implementation, testing, and final reporting. In the initial phase, auditors develop an understanding of the business environment and define audit scope and objectives. Planning involves organizing the audit team, scheduling tasks, and determining resources. The design phase consists of creating an audit program based on identified risks and internal controls. Ultimately, a well-conducted IS audit strengthens organizational performance and mitigates security threats.

Solution of differential equations with vertical asymptotes
(Suleyman Demirel University, 2011) Uxikbayev K.B.
This article investigates the kernel of the inverse operator associated with the third-order differential operator defined by Ly = −y'' + q(x)y under periodic-type boundary conditions. Using Kolmogorov widths and s-number theory, we establish estimates for the operator’s properties and demonstrate that the inverse operator is a kernel operator when q(x) is continuous and satisfies q(x) ≥ 1. Several supporting lemmas are proven, including inequalities for the operator and relationships between s-numbers and Kolmogorov widths. The results provide a theoretical framework for understanding the behavior of higher-order differential operators in Hilbert and Banach spaces.

(Suleyman Demirel University, 2011) Cemil Tosik
In education implemented throughout the history of humanity, all kinds of information and social values intended to be transferred to the young generation are realized by teachers. The higher quality of teaching, the more achievement of student is. To achieve the goal of teaching and learning, the teacher must adopt effective teaching and learning methods in education. The teacher has many options to choose from different methods designed specifically for teaching and learning. The purpose of this research presented here is to investigate the effects of using concept maps on student achievement at teaching 'Binary System and Boolean Algebra'. Nowadays the information easy to reach but to keep in mind and to reach new findings and synthesis are quite difficult. In educational process for effective learning, the teaching materials for the learning purpose should be comprehensible and appropriate for the students. Furthermore, the learners are expected to construct the concepts and relations of the learning materials so as to achieve the desired learning objectives. Concept mapping is a method using graphs for representing knowledge in a structure according to different levels of abstraction and inclusion. The method has been widely applied in many disciplines and various educational levels. This learning environment is intended to guide the learners toward general understandings of the subject they have to learn.

EFL TEACHERS’ PERCEPTIONS OF STRATEGIES TO FOSTER CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS IN ONLINE EDUCATION
(Suleyman Demirel University, 2020) Junisbayeva S.; Smakova K.
The significance of critical thinking skills is highly recognized in foreign language teaching worldwide and in the Kazakhstani state curriculum of secondary education as well. However, the COVID-19 crisis obliged most educational institutions to adopt an online form of instruction, which is new for most teachers. Thus, this study analyses the Kazakhstani EFL teachers’ perceptions of fostering critical thinking strategies in online teaching during the pandemics with the aim of investigating how EFL teachers view the core concepts of critical thinking skills and the strategies implemented during online lessons. Employing semi-structured interviews, qualitative data were collected from ten non randomly selected EFL teachers. The findings reveal that teachers are aware of the core concepts of critical thinking skills and the strategies that can be adapted and implemented online. However, while using certain strategies to develop critical thinking skills, teachers encounter challenges that require greater support to overcome.

Towards an Inclusive Future: Public Administration, Legal Reforms and Education in Kazakhstan
(SDU University, 2025) Darkhan Orynbassarov; Baiyrbek Perizat; Saparkhan Laura
This study explores how Kazakhstan’s legal and administrative systems shape the implementation of inclusive education. Inclusive education seeks to ensure that all students, including those with disabilities, receive high-quality learning opportunities on the basis of equity and human rights. Using a mixed-methods design, the research combined quantitative data on school accessibility and disability inclusion with qualitative analysis of national and international legislative frameworks. Interviews with education experts further illuminated local implementation challenges and systemic barriers. The findings reveal significant gaps between policy development and practice. While Kazakhstan has endorsed international agreements promoting inclusivity, progress is hindered by centralized governance, limited funding, and persistent cultural stigma, particularly in rural areas. A comparative review of Finland, Germany, and Russia highlights the benefits of decentralization, community involvement, and strong teacher preparation. The study concludes that achieving genuine inclusivity will require clearer and more inclusive legal language, greater local autonomy in education, enhanced teacher training for diverse learners, and the removal of financial and cultural obstacles. These reforms are essential to secure equal rights and fair treatment for all students.

THE TYPICAL SITUATION BEFORE THE CRISIS
(Suleyman Demirel University, 2010) Sabdenaliyev Berik
This article examines the progression of financial crises, analyzing the economic conditions preceding, during, and following a crisis. Typically, crises occur after prolonged periods of high economic growth, elevated employment, and rising asset prices, including stocks and real estate. Initially, companies over-invest and individuals over-borrow, assuming continuous growth. Early signs of crisis include declining revenues, reduced orders, asset sell-offs, and falling stock prices. As the crisis develops, defaults, bankruptcies, and unemployment surge, while banks face liquidity problems due to unpaid loans and depreciated collateral. The full-blown crisis is marked by widespread sell-offs, market collapses, and institutional failures. Recovery requires debt restructuring, acceptance of losses, and reorganization of companies and financial institutions. Key causes include over-optimism, excessive borrowing, and short-term incentives for bank executives. Preventive measures involve strict governmental regulation of lending practices and prohibition of executive bonuses tied to risky lending. Understanding these dynamics is critical to mitigating the impact of future financial crises.

Functional Equations: Review of Solution Methods and Applications in Real and Complex Analysis
(Suleyman Demirel University, 2011) Muammer Gul
This article provides an overview of functional equations, one of the oldest and most fundamental topics in mathematical analysis. It discusses classical types of equations, including Cauchy’s additive and multiplicative equations, and highlights their historical development through the works of D’Alembert, Poisson, Cauchy, and Lobachevsky. Several well-known equations, such as those related to the parallelogram law, hyperbolic functions, and non-Euclidean geometry, are illustrated as examples of how functional equations arise naturally in mathematics. The paper also explores the existence of discontinuous solutions, the role of continuity and boundedness assumptions, and how these conditions restrict solutions to linear or exponential forms. Finally, it emphasizes that many functional equations characterize broad classes of functions—such as periodic or symmetric functions—and outlines general strategies for solving them.
