This beginning Linux class covers the fundamentals of using Linux and Unix. The class trains students to use different file systems, tables, and graphs for data organization, command line functions, and text editors. They practice basic user operations and learn the beginning steps of many of the more difficult parts of using Linux. Through this intermediate class, students study the tools hackers use to break into a computer network and begin learning methods that can prevent this. They learn how to create and maintain firewalls and set up notifications to find intruders. In addition to protecting the systems from hackers, they also learn ways to protect them from malicious software.Item Open Access IMPACT OF QUALITY AND PRICE ON PURCHASING DECISION ON FOREIGN CLOTHING COMPANIES AMONG WORKING ADULTS IN KAZAKHSTAN(СДУ хабаршысы - 2021, 2021) Mamedov A.; Abdol A.Kh.; Jacquline T.Abstract. The study aimed to determine the effect of price and quality on customers' buying behavior in Kazakhstan who purchases imported brand clothing. The study's goals were to look at variables such as price and quality that affect consumer behavior. Furthermore, it has investigated the impact of consumer behavior on purchasing choices. By its very nature, this was a qualitative investigation. Simple random selection was used to choose a sample of 500 working people in Nur-Sultan and Almaty cities for this study, although only 408 took part in the survey as responders. A questionnaire was utilized to obtain data from the study's participants. SPSS was used to analyze the data. Correlation, regression, and SEM were used to verify the hypothesis. According to correlation and multivariate research, both quality and price affect consumer behavior and purchase decisions in global apparel firms. It also discovered that consumer behavior positively correlates with their decision to purchase clothes from overseas firms. The report further depicts market decision-making and what will drive the fashion industry forward. Overall, the study would aid in understanding current consumer preferences in Kazakhstan and estimate the customer's future wants, preferences, and expectations trends.Item Open Access APPLICATION OF CLIL IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS FOR IMPROVING STUDENTS’MOTIVATION(СДУ хабаршысы - 2017, 2017) Nurzhan R. ; Ashirimbetova M.Abstract. Thus, the current article dwells upon the procedure and the results of an experiment conducted with application of CLIL method for Mathematics lessons aimed at improving students’ motivation.Item Open Access SENTIMENT ANALYSIS OF UNIVERSITY FEEDBACK OPINION OF STUDENTS ABOUT AN EDUCATIONAL PART IN KAZAKH LANGUAGE USING MULTIBINOMIAL NAIVE BAYES CLASSIFIER(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) A. Serek; M. ZhaparovAbstract. In this paper, the system which identifies the sentiment, (aka meaning) of a kazakh phrase, (whether it is a positive, or a negative) have been implemented using MultiBinomial Naive Bayes Classifier and achieved accuracy approximately 71 % on the dataset about university feedback across students on its educational component in order to help administrative staff to evaluate the current state of education in the university and make some decisions on its basis. We consider it to be a good result, given that the data was small in size, so that there were only few collected samples. The importance of the work that we did not find any paper which performed sentiment analysis using MultiBinomial Naive Bayes classifier on an agglutinative language. It can be argued, that the model can be successfully generalized in other educational organizations pursuing the same cause as it was identified in the above-mentioned rationale. This study investigates the perceptions of pre-service teachers on the role of technology courses in their current teacher training program/curriculum, as well as the extent to which they feel prepared on their ability to integrate technology into their classrooms. A semi-structured interview was conducted with 8 pre-service senior students. In addition, an online questionnaire was sent to 40 pre-service senior students of Suleyman Demirel University. A 5 point Likert Scale questionnaire with 29 items was used. Overall, the findings revealed that pre-service teachers have a strong positive attitude toward technology and high confidence in their competency in using technology. It must be borne in mind that the study was conducted with a small sample group of participants in one particular university. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that for the first time the study of the features of the translation of media texts of news topics distributed via the Internet is viewed through the prism of computer technologies named as machine translation tools and Translation Memory systems. The purpose of this work is to study the features of the use of computer software in the translation of media texts distributed through the global Internet telecommunications network, within the tasks carried out by the texts as a means of communication, and to study the influence of these features on their translation. According to the authors, the use of automatic translators can significantly reduce the translation time by increasing the time for editing certain types of text.
