This article considers privileges from brand alliances for business class passengers, since these passengers are the main and regular customers of airlines, analyzes the importance of these privileges and in addition answers the question: “Is the membership of the airline in the alliance the main reason for choosing the airline?” The issues addressed are relevant due to the fact that passengers are the main sources of income and their relationship to certain issues relating to the airline are very significant.Item Open Access HYPNOSIS AS A STRESS MANAGEMENT TOOL FOR TEACHERS(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Nurshanov Y.Abstract. The article considers the hypnosis as an element of stress management educational complex for the teachers. The author attempted to use the hypnosis technics as a stress coping and prevention tool for the teachers. Based on practical experience and research provided among the teachers, directors and other school stuff author included and patented the hypnosis as an element of psychological pedagogical complex “Stress defense and increasing the stress coping ability”. Hypnosis as an element of mentioned complex provides an opportunity to deeply clear the influence of accumulated stress, trauma and depression. Also hypnosis methods helps to create a motivational base and activate inner resources to effectively manage any life situations. The advantages and difficulties in the application of hypnosis and self-hypnosis are considered.Item Open Access CAPITAL STRUCTURE AND FIRM PROFITABILITY: ANALYSIS OF LISTED FIRMS IN KAZAKHSTAN(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Sarsenova D. ; Aigel Z.Abstract. Decisions regarding to capital structure is essential one since firm’s profitability affected by such decision. This study is vital for financial managers to understand an effect of Capital Structure on Profitability. The paper was aimed to examine relationship between Capital Structure and Profitability of listed firms in Kazakhstan over five years’ period from 2013 to 2017. Secondary data such as audited financial statements were used from randomly selected fifty listed companies in Kazakhstan. Regression analysis, specifically, generalized method of moments (GMM) estimator has been employed in order to analyze an impact of capital structure on firm’s performance. The findings of this study revealed that a significant negative relationship between total debt ratio and profitability of Kazakhstani listed firms.Item Open Access RECOMMENDER SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Kim A.Abstract. Over the last few decades recommender systems have taken more and more place in industry. Recommender systems are algorithms aimed at suggesting relevant products to users. From suggesting to people the goods that could interest them to suggesting to users the web content matching their preferences, recommender systems are today unavoidable in our daily online journeys. Recommender systems are really important in all industries as they can bring real economic returns or can be competitive advantage. In this work we provide an approach for increasing click-through rate by suggesting relevant products to users. Also in this paper we are going to consider international strategies for the standardization of an intelligent city by an oneM2M consortium, in particular the standardization of M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things).Item Open Access PRESERVICE TEACHERS’ THINKING ABOUT AGENCY AND ASSESSMENT(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Jeffrey Spencer Clark; N.Otegen; M.JandildinovAbstract. This case study provides a glimpse into two preservice social studies teachers’ thinking about their own agency as curriculum developers. Albert Bandura’s (2001) framework for personal agency was used as a theoretical lens to better understand the preservice teachers’ thinking about their own intentionality (their purpose for teaching social studies) and forethought (their perceived capabilities and constrains in future school community). The analysis of twenty data items found that both preservice teachers’ developed curriculum that supported their purpose for teaching social studies; however, when they considered the assessments that they had developed a divergence in their thinking emerged. The findings also suggest that the preservice teachers’ differing expectations about acceptance in their future school communities contributed to their divergent thinking about assessment. The preservice teachers’ understood the outcomes of their assessment decisions in two distinct ways, and this shaped how they perceived their own agency in the current educational climate.Item Open Access THE SIGNIFICANCE OF WIPO-ADMINISTERED TREATIES FOR THE COPYRIGHT’S PROTECTION IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Tulibayev S.Abstract. This article discusses the important role of the provisions of the conventions and treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization in the field of copyright protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It presents the obligations imposed by the WIPO-administered treaties on the Republic of Kazakhstan, which were signed or ratified in order to develop national legislation and increase the level of legal protection of authors. The article explains the need for accession to WIPO conventions. The article considers the activities of Kazakhstan in the implementation of the provisions of the conventions, including the implementation of relevant meetings.Item Open Access ANALYSIS OF FILMS SHOWN IN CINEMAS IN KAZAKHSTAN(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Aipenova A. ; Altajanova G.Abstract. This research work about the analysis and information about 100 films shown in Kazakh cinemas in 2010-2018. In particular, the level and development of Kazakh films have been shown. In what genre films are shot in Kazakhstan, its interest rate. Mutual comparison of box office of Kazakhstan films and production companies has been done. In this paper, the percentages of the languages of the films have been shown. The countries of films shown in cinemas of Kazakhstan and their percentage are determined. The analysis of genres of foreign films has been presented. It was also reported about the budgets and box offices of foreign films, and their mutual verification. Countries of films with a high cash register. Well-known manufacturing companies and their percentage has been demonstrated. Awards of the films and their analysis shown in cinemas of Kazakhstan are defined.Item Open Access EQUITY IN ACCESS TO KAZAKHSTANI HIGHER EDUCATION(СДУ хабаршысы - 2019, 2019) Yenikeyeva A.Abstract. The purpose of this study, which is conducted using document analysis and primary data collectionin order to understand the policy and problems of access and equity in Kazakhstani higher education in terms of financial issues. The absence of adequate financial support is the most major obstacle to accessing the education in Kazakhstan. At the same time higher education instituions are not allowed to raise funds and help students with decreasing the fees.In addition to inequity, the high-income cities of Almaty and Astana usually achieve the highest scores on the UNT. Thus means citizens from reacher parts of Kazakhstan have more access to grants issued by government than poorer regions. The main answer of the question who pays and who should pay for higher education in Kazakhstan is revealed.The aim of this study, which is conducted using document analysis is to understand the policy and problems of access and equity in Kazakhstani higher education in terms of financial issues and unified national test (UNT) which is used to make access more transparent and fair. The absence of adequate financial support is the most major obstacle to accessing the education in Kazakhstan. At the same time higher education instituions are not allowed to raise funds and help students with decreasing the fees.In addition to inequity, the high-income cities of Almaty and Astana usually achieve the highest scores on the UNT. Thus means citizens from reacher parts of Kazakhstan have more access to grants issued by government than poorer regions. Future researches may be divided by financing polices and access to higher education by UNT.
