Translation is the process of converting a speech work in one language into a speech work in another language while maintaining an unchanged plan of content, that is, meaning [Barhudarov, 1975]. The ability to choose the right translation technique is an indispensable skill of a translator, so it is extremely important that students have an idea why a particular translation method is used. Recent research has shown that although much has been written about the translation process, there is very little research done on the technique teaching translation in the classroom [Gonzales Davis 2004]. The main topic of this work is methods of teaching translation for students of higher educational institutions studying in the specialty of translation.
