    A Method of Computer-Based Chemistry Instruction: Construction of Concept Maps

    This study discusses the use of computer-based concept map construction as an instructional method in chemistry education. Concepts in chemistry are often abstract and difficult for students to understand through traditional teaching methods. Concept maps provide a visual and organized way to represent relationships between ideas, helping learners develop meaningful understanding. When supported by computer technologies, concept map construction becomes more interactive, motivating, and cooperative. Students actively search for key concepts, create meaningful connections, and organize information visually. This approach aligns with student-centered learning, encouraging research, discussion, and collaboration. Computer-assisted concept mapping also improves communication between students and teachers and can be used for review, assessment, and practice. The method strengthens research skills, critical thinking, and creativity. Therefore, integrating computers into chemistry lessons through concept map construction can support deeper conceptual understanding and enhance overall learning outcomes in secondary-school chemistry education.

    CREATING THREE DIMENSIONAL INTERNAL ORGANS FOR SCANNING USING SIMULATOR

    Abstract. The widespread use of information technology in various fields of science and education in many ways began to determine the progress and direction of development in these areas. A special place is occupied by medicine. This article discusses the solutions and further usage of the opportunities of three-dimensional modeling technology in medicine and in the study of the anatomical features of human internal organs. The field of computer visualization considered in the work, on the example of a designed human heart during medical practice, was focused on the final result on improving the quality of training of doctors at the present stage. The main task of the scientific work is the introduction of modern diagnostics and treatment of heart diseases based on a three-dimensional projection of the cardiovascular organ. Using this project increases the prospects for effective educational process in clinical departments, as well as during cardio-testing. In the process of creating a three-dimensional model, studies were conducted in search of a suitable method for the projection of internal organs with the most approximate accuracy. As a result of the study, a visual model of the human heart was developed that meets the requirements of a diagnostic scanner.

    Investigate mathematical creativity in the fractions topic in fifth grade students

    Abstract. The article discusses the methodological problem of familiarizing a younger student with the concepts of "share" and "fraction" in an elementary school mathematics course. In mathematics textbooks for elementary grades, a student receives information about fractions only through a system of practical actions on real objects, quantities and a description of these actions in the language of special mathematical symbols. Teaching fractions is an integral part of the math program. But why are fractions so hard to understand for children? There are three big things that confuse children most often. 1. We often ask children to complete a series of steps without understanding the reasons for these steps. Sometimes, when they are younger, students are not even ready for the development of concepts. 2. Children often have misconceptions about all the complex topics of mathematics, including fractions. When we can help children resist these misconceptions, learning is often easier. 3. Children struggle with fractions for the same reason that children struggle with many new concepts: they just need practice. Examples of such practical actions are given in the article.

    SYMBOLIC COMPUTATION TECHNIQUES

    This paper presents a brief overview of symbolic computation and introduces two widely used computer algebra systems: Maple and Maxima. The study outlines their basic characteristics, development background, programming languages, licensing models, and main functional capabilities. Several illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate symbolic integration, simplification of algebraic expressions, graphical visualization, differential equation solving, and contour plotting. The paper emphasizes that symbolic computation systems are able to produce exact and general solutions, which makes them especially valuable in mathematical analysis, education, and scientific research. At the same time, certain limitations of symbolic computation methods are discussed, including high computational cost and difficulties in solving complex problems such as higher-degree polynomials and complicated systems of differential equations. In such cases, numerical computation methods are suggested as an effective alternative. The paper concludes that Maple and Maxima remain powerful and complementary tools in the field of symbolic and mathematical computation.
