Item Open Access PRINCIPAL COMPONENT ANALYSIS AND A MULTILINGUAL CONSTRUCT TO DETERMINE THE UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR SELECTION FACTORS(СДУ хабаршысы - 2020, 2020) Assanbayeva G. ; Kadyrov Sh.Abstract. In this article, we review mathematics behind well-known Principal Component Analysis from Linear Algebra implemented in various applied fields. As an application, we develop a construct to measure factors that affect college students in their major selection. This is a multilingual construct given in three languages, namely Kazakh, Russian, and English. To this end, we prepare a survey consisting of 27 Likert scale items in three languages and it is conducted among 314 undergraduate students in Kazakhstan. For dimensionality reduction, Principal Component Analysis is carried in python programming language which resulted in 9 major scales with only 22 elements. The overall reliability of the test is calculated to be 0,856. The nine scales are the effect of Uniform National Testing, state grant affect, personal interest affect, skills affect, occupation salary affect, teacher affect, external affect, university cost affect, parent’s affect.Item Open Access SMM (SUPPORT MEDICAL MACHINE)(СДУ хабаршысы - 2020, 2020) Askarova A. ; Gylymmedden Y. ; Temirbekova D.; Sultanova N.Abstract. Machine learning (ML) provides methods, techniques, and tools that can help solve diagnostic and prognostic problems in various fields of medicine. ML is used to analyze clinical parameters and their combinations for prognosis, such as disease progression, for maintenance therapy of treatment, and for General patient management. In our time, computer systems have already begun to be introduced into the healthcare environment, which makes it possible to facilitate and improve the efficiency of medical professionals and ultimately improve the efficiency and quality of medical care. Below is a demonstration to tell what the main applications of ML were used in the application and show how they can be useful for medical care. The main task was to combine all the useful functions that can help people in the field of medicine. The application will help to determine the authenticity of medicines through text recognition and search through the database of official drug registers, as well as using recommendation systems and algorithms (K-nearest neighbor Algorithm) to help in the selection of medicines, using the camera and phone flash to calculate the heart rate, which will accordingly help people with blood pressure problems. The application will be available on two platforms on 10S, as well as for the Android operating system, as it was implemented through the Flutter framework in Android Studio. For the algorithms, used Google's ML-Kit libraries. The product price plays a strategical role for both organizations, in terms of profitability and consumer lives in terms of utilitymaximizing. However, it is difficult to predict consumer behavior toward established prices by firms. The research works predict that consumer price perception and willingness to pay are different. Also, a consequence of price has been analyzed under three theories (1) Adaptation theory (2) assimilation theory and (3) transaction utility theory. The Internet of Things (IoT) technologies are getting more popular and being implemented as a solution for many relevant problems in information technology purposing low-costed, secure, and controlled remotely systems. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system is used as a type of IoT technology, which has three basic parts: tags, reader and system that manages tag identification (ID) number and its real time location. RFID systems are used in financial institutions, healthcare industry, mobile phones, cars, supply chain management, smart retails, smart house, object localization, security systems and various types of applications for positioning, managing people, assets, and inventory. This paper discusses performances of RFID technologies that use passive tags. Role of RFID technologies in monitoring systems and system architecture are reviewed and compared. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a growing trend in various fields: medicine, education and the automotive industry. AI also reached a business, namely the marketing department of various businesses. The goal of the article is to research how deeply AI is used in digital marketing. The authors asked two research questions - which areas of AI are used in marketing and what are the positive effects of chat bots on a business. To answer these questions, the authors conducted a study of secondary data with examples of AI used for marketing purposes. An analysis of the collected examples shows that AI is widely implemented in the field of marketing, although applications are at the operational level. This may be the result of the careful implementation of the new technology, still at the level of experimentation with it. The uncertainty of the results of the implementation of AI can also affect caution when applying these innovations in practice. The collected examples proved that AI affects all aspects of the marketing structure, affecting both consumer value and the organization of marketing and business management. Poland uses, traditional for European countries, civil liability of environmental protection. Some argue that online is beneficial and others argue that online is less effective than traditional face-to-face. The study presents a lived experience of teachers’ perception of face-to-face and online teaching applying Learning Management System (LMS) Schoology. Presented paper deals with possible positive and negative experiences of English language teachers using Schoology during online and traditional face-to-face teaching. The study takes place in one of the universities in southern Kazakhstan. “Schoology” was chosen as a platform to ease and support the teaching process. The aim of the study is to identify teachers’ perceptions of the Schoology in online and traditional teaching styles. Participants were asked to answer a questionnaire about their perception of the Schoology and informal observations took place. The advantages and disadvantages of online education were additionally revealed in this study. Nowadays, almost all areas of activity are switching to digital format. Medicine is no exception. Treatment is often not the most pleasant process, but it is certainly necessary. In medicine, the use of VR technologies is very popular. They help patients get distracted and immerse themselves in a world where they restore their health during the game. Treatment in the form of games is often more effective than traditional treatment. In this article, we have studied the methods of gamification of rehabilitation after certain diseases. Also, we developed a game prototype for the rehabilitation of hands using Leap Motion technology. Modern games are becoming more and more perfect in terms of game mechanics and content, which makes it possible to use them not only in the gaming industry, but also in the field of medicine.
