    INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO SOCIAL MEDIA IN EDUCATION

    The current paper reviews the usage of social resource such as VKontakte and microlearning technique for educational purposes. The problem is that students in Kazakhstan spend a lot of time in social networks, therefore, the lack of motivation drives to critical results on their academic performance. In order to solve this problem, the research was applied on CSS 216 Mobile Programming (Android) course at Suleyman Demirel University (Kazakh-stan). The collected results show that in a modern world of emerging mobile technologies, we are as educators should improve the way of teaching by adding electronically supported learning methods. In this study, the significance of microlearning technique is proposed.

    Research and Development of Intelligent Testing System based on Android Platform

    This thesis is devoted to developing advanced methods for intelligent testing system to test students’ knowledge and inspire prudent motivation to study. Set of methods are compared and stressed advantages and drawbacks of each, given different approaches in teaching students’ modern technologies.     USING ANDROID TO IMPLEMENT INTELLIGENT TESTING SYSTEM

    The first part of the paper discusses the role of mobile applications in person’s life and proposes a method to apply testing system in Android device. The second part of the paper describes the algorithm used in the prototypes of the testing system. The third part explains details of each prototype and their key concepts. In conclusion the two prototypes are compared and advantages of each are highlighted
