    THE WAYS TO IMPROVE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS OF EFL TEACHERS

    Abstract. ICT plays an important role in the maintenance of Education. In the XXI century, ICT has become a central issue for educators to integrate into the curriculum, thus leading to high performance of learners in the classroom. This study focuses on EFL teachers in secondary schools with different years of experience. This paper analyzes challenges/problems teachers face while using ICT, the level of ICT usage among the secondary school English Language Teachers and teachers’ perceptions towards integrating ICT in an English classroom. The application of technology can progress interest and inspiration of learners. Innovation offers second language learners information, outcomes and feedback; it also offers teachers efficient way of coordinating course contents and to communicate with many learners. Nevertheless, the usage of technology is encouraged and instructors can alter their teaching practices and instructional approaches, so that, available tools are utilized in the most efficient manner. It is recommended that caution to be taken when using technology to support language education.

    EXPLORING THE CASE OF ONLINE LEARNING: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

    Abstract. This article aims to describe the difficulties the master students faced during education in distance and attempts to describe the solutions undertaken to solve them at one of the private universities in Kazakhstan. To identify the problems and solutions the researchers used a questionnaire consisting of closed and open-ended questions and semi-structured interview. The findings showed that the most important difficulties were: time management; demotivation; adaptation to online learning; technical issues; internet connection problems. Also, various strategies were identified that master students tried to apply to solve and avoid these problems. Some of the most effective ones were: peer support; using a laptop instead of a smartphone; getting the recordings of the lessons; improvement of ICT skills and asking support from online instructors.

    Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются новые стратегии и подходы в обучении которые закономерно возникли в процессе изменения парадигмы казахстанского образования. Сегодня существует необходимость трансформации дидактических задач, обновления содержания образования. разработки системы обучения на основе опыта зарубежных стран и методического обеспечения учебного процесса цифровыми технологиями и средствами. Такие задачи требуют проведения лингво-методического исследования новых подходов и языковом образовании И вузе, поиске оптимальных адаптивных методик и подходов, какими являются студенты ориентированное обучение, персонализация B эпоху цифровой жизнедеятельности в связи с COVID-19. Другие виды стратегии как проектное обучение, STEM-образование и другие позволяют раскрыть индивидуальные особенности каждого студента, формировать коммуникативные навыки, критическое мышление на основе модели речевого дискурса и речевого поведения.

    SPEAKING PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY EFL STUDENTS AND POSSIBLE FACTORS FOR THEM

    Abstract. Speaking skill is the most significant aspect of learning a foreign language and speaking skill acquisition is crucial for EFL students for the purpose of communication. Although communicative language teaching method is by EFL teachers, English language abilities of EFL students are still unsatisfactory, students encounter English speaking problems that hinder them to perform effective speaking. These problems have been investigated by several researchers from different countries. This article presents an overview of various speaking problems faced but EFL students from 1995 through 2020. Qualitative and quantitative studies were found through a systematic literature review process. Scientific articles were reviewed and analyzed using qualitative content analysis approach. Basically, the research approaches used by the authors for data collection were interviews, observations and questionnaires.

    Аннотация. Данная статья посвящена актуальным проблемам судебной защиты прав клиентов банков. связанных с использованием интернет-банкинга. Анализируется текущее состояние предпринимаемых государством мер по защите прав потребителей финансовых услуг. B данной сфере с акцентом на результаты судебного рассмотрения дел по искам пострадавших клиентов. В частности, рассмотрена проблема возложения банками ответственности на клиента за безопасность операций B интернет-банкинге и сложность доказывания вины банка. в результате чего складывается негативная судебная практика, не способствующая защите пострадавших клиентов. В статье даны предложения по усилению защиты прав клиентов интернет-банкинга.

    IMPARTING VALUES THROUGH TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

    Abstract. It is known that the education system of Kazakhstan, which is a relatively young country, needs improvements and amendments. In Kazakhstan, Value-based education is a comparatively new teaching trend and is only practiced in several schools. This paper on one side explains the necessity for value-based education, and on the other hand, it focuses on the usage of a foreign language as an effective tool to embed values in students. The process of introduction (integration) of values in Language Teaching is quite complicated. This paper mentions possible ways of effective planning foreign language lessons based on values. The influence of value-based teaching approach on secondary schools’ students is discussed.

    THE INFLUENCE OF ONLINE ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION ON ESL LEARNERS FLUENCY DEVELOPMENT

    Abstract. The aim of this article is to show the possibilities which are revealed to ESL learners in Kazakhstan who focus on studying via the Internet. Globalization and technical progress change the nature of studying, and you can see how learning process becomes faster, more productive and sometimes less personalized. However the assistance of a real teacher is still important, the Internet has made students more independent and flexible. Now a student has a choice of videos, books and exercises to follow during his learning time. It is also important that a student can consult the teacher who is online during the day. In this article the author also touches upon different learning strategies of students which are connected with their generation.

    HOW THE USE OF GAME FORMS OF LEARNING CONTRIBUTES TO THE INCREASE IN THE ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS LESSONS IN DISTANCE LEARNING

    Abstract. The purpose of the research is to study the influence of game forms of teaching on increasing students’ activity in mathematics lessons in a distance mode and on increasing students’ activity through the use of game forms. The study involved 51 students in grade 7, 25 teachers shared the types of games used in the lesson, as well as methods. Having online lessons in a playful way allows the teacher to set learning objectives outside the box, which increases students’ interest in learning and application in the classroom, contributing to the rapid achievement of learning goals. Based on the results of the analysis of pedagogical literature, the definition of game technology in relation to mathematical disciplines was formulated: it is a complex of pedagogical tools, methods, and forms that contribute to an increase in the cognitive activity of students, the main of which will be original tasks, a variety of didactic and methodological techniques and game situations in practical classes.
